What is Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (Reti-A) and how does it differ from Retinol?

Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR) is a retinoid ester — a third-generation retinoid — that binds directly to retinoid receptors in the skin. Unlike Retinol, which must be converted through multiple steps (retinol → retinaldehyde → retinoic acid) before becoming active, HPR is active in its applied form. This means it is effective at smaller amounts and produces less of the dryness, peeling and sensitivity associated with the retinol conversion process. It delivers pore-tightening, cell turnover and anti-ageing benefits with significantly reduced irritation.

Should I apply sunscreen the morning after using the Reti-A Reedle Shot Hydrogel Mask?
